Law Firm Layout Pack

Getting Started

Before we begin, make sure you have Divi Theme installed on your WordPress website before importing this layout.

The Divi theme is not included in this package. To download Divi, you must have an Elegant Themes Membership. If you don’t have the membership, follow this link to acquire one.

Importing Law Firm Layout

Importing: Homepage Layout, Services Page Layout, About Us Page Layout, Contact Us Page Layout, Blog Page Layout, and FAQ Page Layout:

Once you have downloaded the Law Firm Layout zip file, unzip the file then locate the Law Firm Layouts.JSON file.

Go to Divi>>Divi Libray. Then at the top of the page, click on Import & Export. A new window will come up. Click on the Import tab, then choose the file Law Firm Layouts.json, then click on Import Divi Builder Layouts.

This process will import all the page layouts (Homepage, About Us, Contact Us, Services, Blog page, FAQs, and Footer Layout), save them to your Divi Library and make them available for your use.

To use any of the saved layouts, create a new page, say About Us page, then load the About Us Layout saved in the Divi Library.

Importing the Divi Builder Templates: (Single Post Template, 404 Page Template, Category Page Template, and Search Results Page Template).

To import a Divi Builder Templates, click the portability icon within the Divi Builder to launch the portability system. Navigate to the Import tab. Click the “Choose File” button and locate from your previously downloaded files, the Law Firm Builder Templates.json file, and click the “Import Divi Builder Layouts button.”

Customizing The Layouts

Install These Plugins

For the Blog Page Layout and the Single Post Page Template to work for you, you will need to install and activate the following WordPress Plugins.

• Recent Posts Widget With Thumbnails
• Post Carousel for DV Builder
• Social Warfare

Create a Custom Widget

You will need to create a new custom widget and name it widget1 (no spaces).

Navigate to Appearance >> Widgets, enter widget name then click create.

Reload the page to be able to see the newly created widget.

Populate widget1 area with Recent Posts With Thumbnails.

Importing CSS and Script

The fun part.

For this layout to look exactly the way it is in the demo, you will need to import the Custom CSS and script files used in these layouts.

Go to Divi>>Theme Options.

Use the Import & Export icon to the right corner to import the Json file named Law Firm Theme Options.json.

Importing Customizer Settings (Optional)

If you find what’s in the demo to be interesting, the font, colors, font size, and every other little detail, you are welcome to use the Customizer Settings.

Go to Divi>>Theme Customizer, then import the file named Law Firm Customizer Settings.json.
